Jen and Jerry

As I was editing these pictures I was reminded how lucky Bill and I are to be able to photograph weddings. You get to meet so many people and you really come to care deeply about the couples whose weddings you have the honor of documenting. I am always moved listening to the speeches and watching the special moments when the couple have their first dance or when the bride dances with her Father and groom with his Mother. Jen and Jerry's wedding was a joy from start to finish!

How can a wedding dress not be beautiful- they all are, but Jen's dress was extraordinary! I have never seen another dress even similar to this one, several people remarked that it was the prettiest dress they had seen.It was perfect on her!

Melinda and Mark

We don't shoot a lot of weddings in the Downriver area, but last weekend we had two! The first was Melinda and Mark's wedding. The ceremony was held at St. Mary Magdalan in Melvindale. It is a very unique church, really beautiful! Here are a few of our favorite images.

The reception was held at Crystal Gardens in Southgate Michigan. It is a lovely venue, very beautifully decorated and the staff was super nice!

I am so happy we had the opportunity to work with you, Melinda and Mark! We had a lot of fun with your friends and family and especially getting to know the two of you!

Nicole and Nick

We photographed Nicole and Nick's wedding at Oakhurst County Club in Clarkston on June 13.

It was such a nice wedding- Oakhurst is beautiful, Nicole was a gorgeous bride, their family and friends were such a great ( and fun!)  group of people... it was perfect.

Alayne and Mike

On Saturday we photographed Alayne and Mike's wedding. The wedding was at the Stone Angel Chapel in Davison and the reception was held at the Lapeer Country Club. What a fun group of people!!! Alayne was STUNNING!!! Her dress was perfect for her! I may have gone a little crazy with the number of Alayne images here but I just couldn't help it!!!

 Ok, Bill had a great idea, we were discussing the wedding the night before and he said lets bring a rope for tug-of-war! GREAT IDEA I said... and it was!  It was a lot of fun except we needed a rope that was about 12 feet longer! Next time!!
